As a Key Account Manager Associate you will support the Area Sales Manager in all tasks, focused on building strong relationships to our business partners, analyzing relevant information and data and being close to the market with the overall target to increase distribution and grow our market share.

You will work closely with the local Trade Marketing team and the business partners to build up tailor made trade marketing plans and to make sure that all the plans are properly conducted.

Whilst building the sales and trade marketing plans, you will not only develop your negotiating and sales skills, but also your financial & marketing skills, analytical insights and logistical understanding as you will be responsible for the business partner from A-Z.

You will report directly to the Area Sales Manager and will work closely with the trade marketing team, but also with the central support teams from the EMEA Headquarter based in Amsterdam.

Your key activities:

  • Build sustainable relationship with our business partners.
  • Plan, negotiate, agree and control the annual sales budget in order to achieve sales turnover and gross-profit targets.
  • Liaise with the local Trade Marketing to communicate the needs related to each Trade Marketing plan, make sure that all the Trade Marketing plans are properly execute on the field.
  • Follow-up on agreed sales actions plans.
  • Be close to the sales team of our business partners and customers.

What makes you a strong candidate?
Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 2 – 3 years sales experience working with consumer products
  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Strong Negotiation Skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-driven
  • Team Player
  • Proficient in the English and German language, both written and verbal
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
