Marketing Internship – Corporate Communications

 Please note: This is a full-time internship for a period of 6 months of longer. Only applicants who are enrolled as students for the entire duration of the internship and that are based in the Netherlands will be considered.

Are you a student in the field of Communications and Marketing and looking to gain practical experience within a innovative international healthcare company? This is your chance! OMRON Healthcare EMEA is looking for a bright and creative Marketing student to join our dynamic team in Hoofddorp for an exciting internship!

What will be your role?

As a member of the EMEA Corporate Communications team, you will be working for the OMRON brand and will get exposure to the all aspects of internal and external communications – You will support the team on multiple efforts ranging from internal communications strategy and content creation to the development of external communications material such as news items, press releases and social media content to support our public relations program.

At OMRON’s Marketing department there is never a dull moment and you can expect that during your internship, you will be involved with tasks such as:

  • market and communications reach analysis;
  • working with agencies and following up on planned communication campaigns;
  • gathering input from multi-functional teams for communication projects;
  • supporting the rollout of new public relations themes during product launches and event.
  • supporting the internal corporate communications content creation and planning
  • brand guideline deployment and digital asset management

Next to the above mentioned activities, you may be involved in other ad hoc tasks as needed.

Who are we looking for?

  • A currently enrolled Bachelor or Master level student in the field of Communications;
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
  • Have a clear interest/ affinity for healthcare/ medical devices and a customer-focused mindset;
  • Curious, solution oriented, open-minded and an energetic fast learner;
  • Love to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to think big and start small.
  • Good knowledge of MS applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Office 365)       

Please note: This is a full-time internship (40 hours a week). Only applicants who are enrolled as students for the entire duration of the internship will be considered. This internship assignment is not suitable to conduct your thesis. We are looking for students who can start during July/August 2020. Excellent communication skills and proactive attitude are both important to bring this internship to success.
